What was Norman Lear's joke with Archie Bunker saying that everyone on airplanes carry a gun to reduce skyjackings has been suggested by our ridiculous president.

The lady who wrote that hits a lot of good points. The NRA is about selling guns. As many as possible. The safety of the country be damned.

Guns last a long time. They easily outlive us. There are plenty of "modern" guns out there that are just about 100 years old or older. They work just fine.
