"Why Does the Right Hate Obama So Much?"

I admit, I am beginning to suffer a great deal of buyer's remorse. Just this morning, Obama said he wants more expansion of searching e-mails with warrants, going further than even Bush:

Obama is becoming too much like Bush so I am puzzled why they hate him so much. Yes, he has done a few good things but they could have been better.

after all he really delivered on the deficit reduction they SAID they wanted. And on welfare reform etc etc.
Because he's not on their team. Therefore no matter what he does for the general welfare or even for them personally (like a 4-5-fold increase in the stock market), it can't 'really' be for the good of their 'side'.
Plus, if the teabaggers e.g. didn't say 'boo' about Bush's incursions into civil liberties, then, just as Bartcop says, the only reason for them to care NOW as opposed to THEN, is because he is black. In fact, I think it's the only big overall reason. He could be Reagan and Dubya rolled into one, politically, but they could never see that, they will never see beyond his skin color. He must be one of 'THEM'. Therefore he must be Malcolm X and H. Rap Brown and Stokely Charmichael and every other possibly scary jiggaboo they have ever imagined.

he proved that their economic policies of making the rich even richer did not work. He proved without a doubt that they were dead wrong and full of shit. That's why they spent tens of millions of tax-payer dollars to attempt to get rid of him and then say they just "let him go" when they failed to find any crimes he committed.

Meanwhile Bush and Cheney commit multiple impeachable offences and get away with it. Even Obama refuses to send them to prison, which is where they belong along with KKKarl Rove.

He may be more moderate than most who voted for him but still...

He's not a major neocon..

He didn't run on the Republican ticket nor could he.

Lastly, he's black. Hey.. I hate to say it but I think for a lot of far rightest, they would take segregation back in a hot second and I would guess a small percentage of them would love slavery back.
