I see them transported all the time. Port of Houston on rail to west Texas. They are also all along the sparsely populated area of the south Texas coastline.

And gasoline is a buck ninety. Wise investments.

Drove through North Texas and Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico, South Nevada and Southern California recently, on 40, getting off to follow old route 66 quite a bit and seeing everything.

Apart from a lot of things like the big meteor crater and the giant soda bottle and several museums, we also saw the power generation of the future.

Hundreds of windmills, dozens of solar panel farms and at least three units that were solar concentration thermal units, two were active and glowing absolutely white at the business end.

That's a whole lotta power being generated. Didn't have a chance to go see the Ares facility being built, but it's going to store a lot of power!
