"In the mood for something disgusting?"

Apparently the Baltimore PD didn't fully explain that if you're going to plant drugs and fake evidence, you need to wait 30 seconds before turning on the body camera.

Poor bastard they arrested has been in jail, unable to make bail, for six months. I hope he sues the HELL out of the city.

Apparently police departments across the country do a poor job weeding out undesirables.

Cutting corners. Hey it's American efficiency in action. Except it's not efficient. It's counterproductive.

When I worked in quality assurance at our plastics plant, I could sometimes spot a cheat. Having done so myself on the factory floor. It takes a thief to catch a thief.

Let me understand this correctly; Uber is making deliveries for McDonalds? ??!!??

How fucking cheap is that gonna be and how long before some hapless, desperate Uber drivers kill someone trying to deliver a FUCKING Big Mac?

The good news, most of our police are good hard working people.
The bad news, that percentage decreases by the day.

A lady from Australia got shot for being Australian. She comes from a normal country. She didn't know it was wrong to startle trigger happy US cops who are wound up tighter than a two dollar wristwatch.

OJ got to smell free air again. The poor put upon lad. If it weren't for a really fucked up jury in LA, he would be doing heavy time for murder. It wasn't that Johnny Cochran was some brilliant lawyer. No,it was a fucked up jury. The equal of the Medgar Evers jury who turned his murderer free.

And now thanks to body cams we get to see where the rubber meets the road. Cops will figure out a way around body cams.

I work with a guy who was part of the first body cam experiment in the country. These had constant GPS as well as camera capabilities.

A woman's sister came into the station and HAD A FIT because she said this particular investigator (detective) was with her sister and wanted her to go back to prostitution. She'd been in jail and had gotten out, and this guy was with her "right now".

So they go to my friend and check the guys position and damned if he isn't in that apartment building. So they start looking at the camera data, and did they ever get an eyeful.

And he got discharged. Quickly. Plus some kind of charge for solicitation or something - the DA was NOT amused at all.

Seems like cops are always having to get put back in place. Since the time of Frank Serpico.
