"wrote this on LA as a response to something. Had to share"

Can't the 'right wing' see when the direction has gone wrong?

It is TIME to have full on PUBLIC HOUSING with small units that give 'individuals' privacy to sleep, store cold food, cook, read, watch TV, and maintain personal hygiene. All this is a requirement for human sanity and growth.

With today's technology, there is NO EXCUSE why our tax dollars can't be paying for this and getting 'humans' back off the streets and riverbanks.

Feed, house, and educate those children. They will move UP from public housing and often take their family along to prosperity.

Far too many of our people are brainwashed into thinking everyone has to rise up by their own bootstraps. Same thing for those groups that are almost total communities.

They decry poor people living off the government tit but run a business off of government contracts. Contracts as crooked as a dog's hind leg.

My idea will not happen for many lifetimes.

But, we must keep those born into the lowest of economic circumstance on a road to success. Without family support, the government must step in with a plan for this transition.

Otherwise the homeless, we see in California, will increase. We see them most in California, because they don't freeze, outside, in the winter.

And here's the best part. It was pet food. I saw that yesterday when I was perusing the internet for canned salmon (good vitamin D source). $30 could feed a family of five.

Half of US business now is catering to the whims of the ridiculous rich.

Our "prosperity" is as fake as a window mannequin.

But at least it's food for people. Not cats and dogs. What kind of self respecting dog eats fish anyway?

Myself, when I have the money for it, I like a can of red salmon. Buttery salmon goodness in every can. About >$5 per large can.
