And I hope you've noticed that the media has run back to false equivalence like a dog to its vomit.

It really pisses me off. Democrats take this stuff so seriously that a pat on the ass gets people calling for expulsion. While Republicans will vote for a pedophile. And the POTUS supports the pedophile.

"I don't belong to an organized political party. I'm a democrat!"-Will Rogers

Bill Clinton was impeached for perjury in a case that was thrown out of court and George W Bush lied this country into a very destructive war with no consequences. Democrats have to quit settling for playing the chump.

Here's a guy with a thousand quotes, easily, saying he's not a Democrat, will never be a Democrat, that the whole party is EVIL.

And he runs as a Democrat, LOSES UNDER THE SAME RULES CLINTON LOST TO OBAMA UNDER, and then has a hissy fit.

And Democrats SUPPORTED THIS!

OMFG! People are just flat freaking stupid!

Just because someone says they've been treated unfairly doesn't make it so!

But to many Democrats, the statement is all that's needed.

Good Lord.

I guess these are the same people ready to give Franken the heave ho when so far two Trump supporters are making claims and two anonymous won't identify themselves. It may be that Franken is guilty, but why not wait for better evidence.

And it's why there won't be one, or at least not a reasonable investigation.

You have two anonymous claims that can't be verified, and two of extremely doubtful probity.

I cannot imagine the judge who would look at the Tweedon photos and not simply close the case - and probably chew on the DA for bringing such a plainly unprovable misdemeanor case.

And the questions of exactly WHY the state fair woman didn't slap him, or yell, or say something to her husband, or show the photo her husband took, or how he managed to conceal this from the crowd - those would get that case thrown out as well.

Moreover, that kind of behavior is pretty consistent across the board. Even taking the two anonymous complaints, four is far too few.

In Franken's case, if true, a butt squeeze. Nobody's job was threatened. Nobody's promotion was delayed. There was no superior to subordinate relationship. Distasteful, but he shouldn't lose his job over it.

In Roy Moore's case, the situation was very seriously different because of the ages involved.

Dubious women making charges for whatever gain make it harder for honest complaints to be taken seriously. Republican politicians for all their self righteousness seem to be more guilty of just about every crime in the books and will use just a hint of some complaint against democrats.
