"Tax benefits"

So far I have read a number pieces on how the fat cats will make out on the new tax bill. The house version and the senate version are different, but the fat cats still make out. What I haven't been able to figure out is how does it affect me. I have feeling it is not going to be very good.

Didn't you know Donald Trump was into golden showers?

There is even a pee pee tape hidden somewhere.

Umbrella stocks should be going up. It's gonna be a long three years.

I suspect when people find out exactly what is in the tax bill it won't be a very good christmas present. I would expect the tax tables to change and employee with holdings starting next year. Whether that is good or bad, who knows.

Ummmm,....yeah Mitch!

Democrats need to bang this gong for 11 months.

I'm afraid this is a done deal. If enough outrageous stuff is uncovered, it might be derailed. But I think the big hurdle was the Senate. And that's been done.

I'm afraid my mother in a nursing home is gonna lose her government benefits, as meager as they are. I've even asked my republican sister to write to our two republican senators.

First off, they're adding a trillion plus in debt over ten years.

So interest rates will go up.

The state that is going to get hit hardest, IMHO, is Utah. Big families, lots of homeowners - that's exactly who this was crafted to hurt. Just MHO again, I think the GOP has made the mistake of believing their own BS, because they seem to think (in private) that it will hurt immigrants the most.

You get a double personal deduction, but no breaks for student loans, for homeownership, not even for state or local taxes.

Just pointing it out here, the GOP has whined over "double taxation" for decades, yet suddenly they think it's a great idea. Best thing since sliced bread, apparently.

So if you're young, have student loans, are buying a house, and intend to have three or more children while you're still young - then you are going to get soaked.

Otherwise, not so much. Till 2027. When you'll get hit like a brickbat upside the head.
