"Taxes again"

Looks like the repugs have given every repug senator part of the tax bill, but no dems have any input. There aren't going to be any brave holdouts like the health care bill.
What I am reading is if there are any benefits to ordinary Americans they will only be temporary while the fat cats cuts will be permnant.

The bill moves the funding of the government to the middle class, while the oligarchs rape the working class.

I was hoping that Susan Collins or the sickly John McCain would be holdouts on this. Bob Corker flipped. Dammit!! If we could have held out a little more, we could derail.

As Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over till it's over. "

Delusions, errors and lies are like huge, gaudy vessels, the rafters of which are rotten and worm-eaten, and those who embark in them are fated to be shipwrecked. Buddha

There is an article on Daily Kos called the "The final GOP tax scam bill" that pretty well sums up what it is about. Kind of confusing what the standard and personal deductions amount to. It is possible I may save a few bucks 2019 if I am around. One thing I don't like is repeal of the insurance mandate which will run up health insurance costs for everyone.

Senator Turtle says he can fetch back John McCain with the snap of his fingers...,John McCain might tell Mitch McConnell to go take a flying fuck at the Moon if he hears any fingers snapping.

If Harry Reed taught us anything, it is that republicans are very susceptible to Christmas vacation. Given John McCain's state of health, I don't see him rushing back to DC.

There is still a chance to derail this thing.

51-48 in the Senate. I hope Democrats keep reminding everyone on that number. Not one single Democrat vote.

After it goes through a couple of blemish treatments in the House, it goes to the White House.
