Moore can't stop them from certifying the election. But he's trying like hell. He could hold his breath, I suppose.

You know, I like it when the opposition party makes it easy to hate them. Now all Moore has to do is kick a puppy and he'll have the SPCA on his case too.

They better do some extra hard prayin' this coming year...., prayin' for us to change, not for them to change.

"It's worked for so many years now"

The Republicans are assuming it will work forever.

They've contested and cried fraud in every election they didn't win for thirty years. That was Rove's main trick, and they've used it constantly since.

I think it's about worn out, myself.

He grabbed a lawyer and ran straight for court. Grabbed James Baker as I recall. The party that badmouthed lawyers at every single opportunity grabbed a lawyer without blinking an eye. They drew a lawyer faster than Bill Hickcock could draw a gun.

"The GOP loves accusing the DEMS"
In response to Reply #1

The GOP loves accusing the DEMS, of committing whatever crime the GOP had actually already committed, or were getting ready to commit. Look at Trump group. They were accusing Hillary of hob knobbing with the Russians.. then it was discovered just WHO was doing the hob Knobbing.

Today's republican party is corrupt and aided and abetted by ordinary members. They have no shame so it will be difficult to change them. Maybe at the ballot box, but our democratic leaders always find ways to screw up like 2010 after helping end the great recession. It may take force one way or another like enforcing laws and putting them in jail.

"Talk of impeachment will be counterproductive now. "
In response to Reply #4

Red state democrats are shying away from it. Won't touch it with a ten foot pole. Besides if each and every single democrat won in the 2018 Senate races, they would still need republican votes for an impeachment. And that ain't going to happen.

Impeachment is on the back burner. But old Bob Mueller's got the grill all fired up. That'll have to do for now. If the republicans have no appetite for impeachment, I don't think democrats do either. But somebody should go to jail over the Russians.
