"Do you think Trump might be faking dementia?"

It would solve a lot of problems for him in my estimation.

1)He hates being in the White House and he's looking for a way out.
2)His fouled up legacy could easily be excused a la Ronnie Raygun.

There is a lot of talk that he does have dementia. I just want to remind everyone that I think Trump is the world's biggest con man.

I think he has a mandatory check up at Walter Reed on Jan. 12.

If the dude last out his term, the government will be set back years. Most agencies are reversing all the progressive gains.
I'll go with con man which is what he does best. Also this latest book by Michael Wolff shows him to be totally nuts. According to a Wash Post writer some of the stuff in the book may not be true, but I don't really care if it is or not. About time the wingnuts get a taste of their own medicine.

If you follow my meaning.

We may be rid of Trump, but not the way we want it. Not by impeachment by will of the people's House and Senate. But by way of the 25th amendment which would turn Trump into a sympathetic President. As nightmarish as becoming President after losing the popular vote by 3 million, becoming a sympathetic President in the history books would be hard to stomach.

Also we would be left with Mike Pence.

BTW, how deep is the snow? I hope you still have power. Bundle up and stay safe.

I don't really see this dementia people keep talking about.

I see a man who has simply been spoiled rotten since birth, who has never thought deeply about anything, and who has been surrounded by yes men (and women) forever.

He watches Fox every morning, and tweets on whatever Fox has on.

That's all there is to it. He lives on adulation, and he isn't getting it from anyone but his base. I'm dead certain that Republican leaders are "managing" him by just acting like he's a genius, and then telling him he'll be a hero if he signs bill X.

I've see 10,000 just like him, they're common as dirt. If being a spoiled brat at 70 is dementia, then there's a helluva lot of demented people out running around.

Dangerous temperatures. Frostbite and hypothermia are not to be trifled with. Hot cornbread and good stew ought to cure any cabin fever. Or a good meaty chili.

A revisit of weather we used to get every winter. I remember the big polar air masses in the 70's, huge snows and the Ohio River freezing over to a depth where people were walking from Louisville across the river to bars on the other side.

A week or two of what used to be common, and the whole country goes off the rails.

And yes, be very careful outside. Layer clothing, and watch out for high winds. I've been outside in high winds at -27, over 50 below wind chill, and it was not fun at all.

In really cold weather, snow squeals as you walk.

I don't know. We don't see him up closely. The most common description for people who do see him up closely is childish.

But I don't want to see Trump skate away on the 25th amendment. Gut it out to 2020 or impeachment. Whichever comes first.

With this knucklehead in charge the country is on cruise control. At some point there is going to be some obstacle in the way that requires some leadership. A country of over 320 million doesn't seem to have much leadership from either party now. The electoral college rejected probably the most experienced person, Hillary. Harry Reid was far better than Chuck Schumer in the senate. Nancy Pelosi even tho she is getting along in years is still doing a good job in the house. My 2 cents.
