"Trump sounds like he's gonna release the Nunes memo."

Regardless of what his intelligence community says. I'd say pissing off the alphabet soup agencies is generally a bad idea, but what do I know, I'm a democrat. FBI director Wray may walk out. We'll see.

Has the flu been kicking ass in your state? Texas is gettin whupped. I've had either a cold or a very mild case of the flu. Just bought a bunch of tangerines from the local market. Mostly Hispanic customers. They have the best selection of fruit. Also I've been having apple cider vinegar first thing in the morning.

Apparently, he's not smart enough to realize that the memo is self contradictory, in that it starts off with the premise that the investigation is somehow tainted because it started with information that had passed through a Democrats hands. Assumption there is that no Democrat can possibly tell the truth, plus that even if it was true, it should be ignored because it came from a Democrat.

That foolishness aside, the memo also tries to smear the agent who started the investigation IN JULY, months before the FBI got the Steele dossier.

So either Trump is flat out stupid, didn't bother to read it, or he figures the base is that stupid. Pick one or both or all three for that matter.

On the Faux Sunday morning talk show a Democrat congressman was explaining the memo. Chris Wallace objected, "But that's inside baseball!!". As if you didn't have to peel back the layers of this onion.

Now the republicans are big critics of the FISA courts. Not one peep in the previous sixteen years.

As for your last point, Trump is counting on the base not to read the memo or about it. Just making the charge is good enough for the base. No bother to actually read anything.

Counting on their stupidity? Trump BANKS on their stupidity!
